I hired John (Johnny) Bolos as a seller's agent to help me sell my home at Arcadia Lakes, Columbia, SC. Initially, I was trying to sell the house by myself but it did not work out as realtors are very reluctant to deal with FSBO. Then John came fully prepared with price market analysis and convincing Power Point presentation. He was before everybody else, and although I interviewed another 10 realtors or so after him, I went back to hire John. He was very knowledgeable and ahead of everybody else. John is young, very energetic, and passionate about real estate. He is born for that; it is in his blood. Another major attraction was that John's company Century21 works at 5% commission whereas everybody else charges 6%. That was a big saving just to start. John and his assistant Maribel turned to be very professional, very responsive to phone calls and emails, and helped me through the process. John was available on evenings and weekends and if I would send him an email late at night, he would respond at around 6 am or so. John has good negotiation skills too. Once the home inspector came with some issues on the home inspection report, John also helped with hiring contractors. Sold the house after only 2 and a half months. We put it on the market for Memorial Day and closed on August 17, 2017. Overall, I am highly satisfied with John and Maribel and would strongly recommend Century 21. Thank you John and Maribel!!!
